Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox had studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox did not feel happy with the quality of her abilities compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. She was the main singer in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva that was out around 1992. This album became a huge success, both in terms of sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul jazz tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let you go... art installation, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. After minor success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. In 1992, Lennox launched a solo career with her debut album Diva that produced a number of hit songs includingWhy andWalking through Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of songs.
